Sphagnum moss serves as a versatile growth medium for various orchid species and other epiphytic plants such as hoyas, climbing green plants, insectivorous plants, and various cuttings. It not only fulfills a practical role but also enhances aesthetics and decor.

Unlike conifer bark or hydroton ceramic granules, sphagnum moss excels in retaining water, making it particularly valuable for indoor cultivation where strong air movement can rapidly dehydrate other substrates. It maintains an optimal moisture level without suffocating plants or causing water stagnation, thanks to its superior water-retention capacity within its cellular structure.

Our sphagnum moss is available in 4oz packs, though the actual weight may vary slightly due to water evaporation (which does not affect its quality).
